Hello, Timmy ...  :wave:

... because nearly a century of those toys--formerly a passtime for rich gentry--lends those hobbies an aura of respectability!  I suppose in 2108, a PM collection will be ultra-fab!  "I picked up this set in Dubai.  A gift of the crown prince.  He's into ACW.  The one from 2009-2014."

As silly as it may sound, you're probably correct ...  8}

All the best,
Richard

Sounds like a really cool idea. I'd love to see a dinner party table set up this way. :)

If you ever do, please take lots of photos!

Not a lot of chance of that happening. ;)

I don't hold dinner parties. Cooking for 8 people every night of the week is enough of a chore for me. It's almost like holding a dinner party every single day! The only difference is I don't get embarrassed if a dish gets a bit burnt or is slightly undercooked. :P

Plus, while a matching set of Egyptian mugs definitely appeals, I don't think I could afford to buy more than one at the moment.

Most of us would probably agree that it is indeed like you're holding a "dinner party" every day. Which of course means that you must be an expert! So ... perhaps you would like to host our first gathering of all the Playmofriends next year in the Virgin Islands ... :lol:

All the best,
Richard

I split the discussion on slang (i.e. definitions of "molly") and moved it to the PFZ in order to keep the discussion separate from this one.

I also found out where the word comes from. ;)

Thanks for splitting the topic and for finding out where the word comes from ...  :wow:

However, you didn't comment on your "hosting" our first gathering of all the Playmofriends next year in the Virgin Islands with your brand new set of Playmobil Egyptian cups ... :lol:

All the best,
Richard
