New Playmobil USA catalog in newsletter

Hi Friends,
I have received the newsletter from Playmobil and the new USA catalog for 2008 is in it.  Big disappointment that the church sets and the underwater sets were not displayed or shown in any fashion.  Does this mean that the US is not going to get these sets this year?  What a bummer    if that is the case, or do they put out another catalog in a few months?  I don't think so but I don't really know.  What do you all think is going to happen with these new sets?

It's new in EU market, and iirc any new EU sets only get to the US one year or more later on 

There *are* some German online shops (on ebay) that will ship to the US.  The other option might be FAO ... the expanded Aquatic theme park is new (not available yet?) in the US, but they have been selling a special combo package since a couple of months ago:

As Core says, the church stuff isn't likely to officially hit the US this year, it'll probably be out in 2009.

These catalogue postings are a sneak preview into what Geobra have in the pipeline - in some ways a spoiler, but it's interesting to see what's on the way, just don't hold your breath.

Yep, we are only now getting the Dinos that have been in release in Germany for a year. We have the new Aqua park sets, and the riding sets on their way too. And the Fairies.

No, it's Austria, Switzerland, the Benelux countries (Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg), and the Northern countries (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland) which get the new set same time as Germany.
