Hi PF,

i look at the new cataloge and saw a new stecksystem with SystemX combination.

There some slots at the columns look at the pictures.
You can put the smal fence down and there different parts to combinate.

it is steck-like; I'll grant you that. But I don't think it can be used with real steck.
But I am by no way near sure of that ... so, we'll have to wait and see  ;)

I'm tempted to describe that as Playmobil backtracking back to the steck concept, but too proud to bring the real thing back.

Pseudo-Steck?

So now all we have to do is wait for those special connectors that connect pseudo-steck with regular steck and connectors that connect regular steck with system x and some for pseudo steck with system x and....................... c'mon, i wished they made up their mind!!

These are the first pics I have seen of the animal clinic. I love it!  And to see the bench with the tree around it, now I can make the flower stand for the victorian house without having to spend tons on ebay for it! yay! well, next year I guess, whenever its available in the US.  I think I need to get a job to support my playmobil habit!  ;D  That bird cage is adorable!!!  As a parrot owner I have to have several of those for my playmo people! I am so thrilled. Thanks for sharing the pics!

Sorry Andi but those wont work with Steck. They are the same pieces that were used in the treehouse set - just different colors.

your right TIM.........but i think there are one or more columns with systemx connector and the new/old slot .

Look at the pics the must be a connection to the house.
We will see.

Thx for the tree house info, so we can combinate the tree house woodwalls to the animal clinic........... ;D

This was a good catch, Andi ...

I was looking at the last page of the new German 2007-08 Playmobil catalog, and I see that Tim (Tiermann) is absolutely correct about the pseudo "steck" piece being used in the 3217/5746 Tree House set.

Too bad it's NOT the TRANSITION piece that many of us had been hoping for ... :(

I hope they will drop the system x castles and return to steck castles.

Yesterday I was looking on the box of the Bakery.
And there are photos on it of a little boy putting the house together. I've never seen that on a system X box. Instead it's saying something of : Parents it will take two hours to built this castle. After that you cannot change the castle to your imagination.

Well some of those words are written on the box  ;D

Oh well I  :love: the box of the bakery, bought it yesterday

Hello, Scan ...

After the introduction of SystemX (more than ten years ago), we all thought that was the end of the Steck-System. However, Steck seems to still be alive.

I just made a quick visit to the German Playmobil site and these are the Steck-System sets I  found ...
