That just doesn't work for me... what is a part of our collection, is to stay... At least creatures are not an issue - no questions there.

I have been tempted to get rid of a couple of items, but...

Regarding these reissues, nothing REALLY of interest there, I think - though steck is never too much, we do have those buildings, and the price is beyond ridiculous. I do like the klickys, but..

I think their premise is that if you are a "collector" you have lots of money to spend or are willing to spend lots of money whether you have it or not.

On page 7 of the pic link there is a picture of 6 stecks buildings ? It’s very blurry and covid has my eyes all crossed  :loco:

Is it 3 old and the 3 new ?

Yes - 3 from this year (Yellow House, Bakery, Watch Tower) and 3 new ones (Blue House, Museum, Blacksmiths). The Blacksmiths is all-stone, which I think makes it 'new' (the previous one was part timber-framed/fachwerk).

Regarding price...by any measure Playmobil is significantly cheaper than when these sets were first issued. 5300 was £100 in 1989. The current Bakery and Yellow House are cheaper than they were last time they were re-issued (at least in the UK, but that is coming from a slightly weird stand point so it might not be the same in other territories). Plus, if you're willing to be patient, there is always a '25% off everything' sale around the corner.
