 :o :o :o

Wow!!! I never even knew these sets were planned for release. :D

Great to see a little bit of ethnic diversity being reintroduced to the modern Playmoworld, although I know there are some people who don't like the eyes they have used on the Chinese figures. Never imagined they'd actually create a new face print (or perhaps, mold?) so the children can have the same eyes as the parents! 8-)

Of course, to be even more realistic, there should be some mixed family groups too. ;)

I can't quite understand why they used the old leg mold on two of the children figures. Slightly spoils the overall look of the sets.

Thanks for the news, Martin! :)

Maybe they thought that you could "mix" your own, Sylvia ... ;)

Thanks Martin,
They look great!

Hope the Asian face is a mold, and not a print.

Thanks for posting.
Best regards

Cool!

They are really great looking. Definitly a must have for all city live collectors!
Can you tell me where you got the images from? I tried our own (Dutch) DS - but no prices there  :(

No images either on UK DS, although the sets are referred to under "Figures".  Prices are £5.99 for each set in the UK which will probably work out as 5.99 euros.

These are great! how long has it been since we've seen a asian face in a cheap set? I'll certainly buy the first 3, might have to see about the last though...

If you click on the items on the UK site, it brings the full pictures up. The sets are numbers 7980 through 7983 in the order I posted the pics.

I like the Caucasian boy's "monster" t-shirt & baseball glove! Wonder if that'll fit an adult hand too?

I think it should. :)
The baseball accessories look like they are the same ones found in set 5789, a US Target exclusive.
You can see a pic of that set here. 8-)
