Glass dome/mini diorama

Updated the scene with some forest playmobil I recently bought second hand. I really like the boar.
S really likes the piglets. Mom and dad are a bit scared as you can see

I would be up there with them. There are Wild Boar near us (Forest of Dean). I always give them a wide berth, especially sows with piglets, they can turn nasty. Mind you I have never climbed a tree to avoid them!

Every year we go on holiday to the Black Forest (Schwarzwald) in Germany. I’ve often seen the tracks of the wild boar or one of their mud baths, but I’ve never seen a real wild wild boar.

S wanted the whole family in the dome but there was not enough space on the ground. He had a blast when I put mom and dad in the tree

It's a great diorama, lateral thinking helped!

I think Boar are quite nocturnal. Late evening seems a good time to see them.

Those seem harmless enough. They had best watch out though. There might be a bear in the next glass dome over.

Two wonderful wildlife scenes! I love the parents in the trees.  Great use of the vertical space!
