2021 Catalog out
« on: December 08, 2020, 21:26:59 »
German cat here: https://www.playmobil.de/content/katalogviewer/KatalogViewer.html

My wallet passed out with the prices for the skeletons... Do they expect people to buy 20 of those to get a series? Or 30? Or more? I don't understand.

Loads of great stuff there.

I believe the collector activities for next year should involve....  banks. Just sayin'.  >:D

Still more gawking to be done  ;D

I simply must have the Sternengucker and the Eisangler.

Novelmore clearly going to be released as dyads - fire/water, now death/life.

I'll need the VW mini and van, immediately  ;D

It's interesting to see the modern city street theme is getting an extension. It's very reminiscent of the modular Western buildings and a large street or even village with a variety of these could end up looking amazing. Stackability is key, to allow for a nice skyline.

Thanks for the link!  <*)

The astrologer is indeed wonderful. Otherwise ... a lot is too wild for me. Interesting nevertheless. Thanks for flagging this up!

Noticeable price step this year. With economies flat I don't know if those are going to work.  Considering how frequent discounting has been this year I wonder if they are moving to a retail model where they deliberately price items high knowing they will be marked down 25% frequently? It's not an uncommon practice.

I like these sets, but it seems a bit strange that they've got rid of the original ones so the stackability is sort of lost (especially because the two new ones are very similar and don't have pitched roofs or anything you can mix and match really), so it feels a bit of a missed oppurtunity.

The astrologer is lovely. I also like the Street Statue figure all in Gold.

Thanks for the link Tahra!

Yeah the street performer is neat, shows there's still some original thinking among the Gnomes of Zirndorf.  :elf:

I'm keeping my expenditure down by concentrating on the new train stuff.
