Another sub-collection is my rabbits / bunnies.  I've divided them up into family units for the photos, I see them as being 4 familys.

1. Mum & dad are a librarian & teacher & they have 3 sons & a daughter. Two of  the boys are mother's boys & like to dress like her (in a natty cardigan & neckerchief), & the daughter is a daddy's girl & wants to grow up & be a teacher.  The other son (in braces) is the black sheep of the family.

2. Mum & dad are horticulturists & they have 4 daughters (2 sets of twins).  One set of twins is identical & love to do everything together.

3. The dads are chocolatiers & also enjoy foraging.  They have 3 adopted kids, twin sons & a daughter.

4. Dad is a widower & is bringing up 5 kids on his own.  He's an artist & has been finding it tough since his wife passed away, but the kids are very good & try to keep his spirits up.   He has 3 daughters & 3 sons (one, not pictured, is the rabbit kid I haven't got yet).

These are lovely scenes, klickyklack, very heartwarming! I love the same-sex couple with their adopted children! Geobra haven't yet quite got as far as departing from very standard families in the sets they offer, so let's hope they steal some of your ideas!
I might have a few spare instruments for your klezmorim and your wallet need never know!  :)

At that moment the ship suddenly stopped rocking and swaying, the engine pitch settled down to a gentle hum. 'Hey Ford.' said Zaphod, 'that sounds good. Have you worked out the controls on this boat?' 'No,' said Ford, 'I just stopped fiddling with them.' (With thanks to Douglas Adams)

Thanks so much! I'm glad you found them touching, I find the bunny people so weirdly endearing, so I'm happy that comes through.

It would be great to see some more diverse family units, ethnicity, sexuality & disabilty wise.   The dungaree wearing bunny guys screamed out to me to be a same-sex couple.  They're my favourites of the bunnys - their basket back packs are amazing :heart & I have a thing for any klickys in dungarees/overalls & their kids had to be the best/cutest dressed with the dungaree wearing bunny boys & the girl in the Red Riding Hood dress (the regular non-bunny Red Riding Hood girl is one of the klickys I've had since I started my Playmobil journey).  I guess gender based pay disparity even exists in their little world, so the guy couple have plenty of funds to dress their kids nicely (whereas the poor widower who's bringing up 6 kids on his own has patches on his sleeves).

Ack! The Klezmorim would LOVE more instruments!! I sent you a message before about the bunny boy (not sure if my messages are working, but hopefully you got it?),  Keep it up & my klickys will be creating a shrine in your honor!    (eta: apparently the fixed wrist guys already have one & are happy to let the klezmorim & bunnys share it) ;)

Playmofire asked about what fire fighting equipment my classic guys have (their fire fighting kit & construction tools are really ALL of the klickies, but they think it's theirs  ::) ) so I thought I'd add some pictures here.  They don't have much, but we love what bit they do have.

Most of what they have came in a couple of lots, one was more construction stuff, the other was more fire fighting.  They keep it all in a nice pink Playmobil case.

The construction stuff - the bottom left hats & tool box came with other stuff, but everything else came together.

The fire fighting stuff - again, everything but the bottom left hats came in that lot. I need to get them some hoses.

Here's the info on hoses available from DS.  I've also posted it in your thread on your firefighters.

30214793 Hose connector, small white, 20p

30673992 3 lengths, white hose, 150mm, £1.80

30808313 white hose 170mm, 20p

30808833 white hose, 115mm, 15p

30883690 white hose, 60cm 50p

30892072 35cm white hose, 35p

30892930 50cm white hose, 45p

30894680 150mm white hose, 20p

30898940 20cm white hose, 20p

As you can see, there seems little logic in prices at times.

The old style hose nozzle originally took solid hose, but it should be OK with the modern tubular hose or with one of the white connectors.

The white hose may need a connector to attach it to the fire hydrant as that, too, was designed for solid hose.

For your fire extinguishers, there is black hose, 30816420, 20p

I bought a large coil of white rubbery tubing from an eBay seller at much lower cost than DS. It's almost identical to PM tubing, though slightly off-white in colour. If you are interested, I'll hunt out the seller.

Thanks for all the information about what is available!  so helpful!

Thank you! I'm definitely interested too.  I figured there must be something out there that could be used instead & I think it'd be worth getting some of this as well as some official hose (I'll probably get some with my next order just so I can see & compare).
