A Gr eek article posted by JLMatterer (:thanks:)  has some different angle shots of the Argonauts set. The contents pic shows that pineapples and bananas are in the Argo's cargo (c'Argo?) - wildly anachronistical!  >:(

There are also two images of what looks like an independent creation of an Argonauts set, with a different feel:

You can seen the offensive consumables clearly in the backside picture of 70466:

Tropical fruits are a stock item in the classical maritime world since set 5390:

I agree; Bananas (origin Southeast Asia via India, Africa) seem to have been unknown in Europe before 700 CE and Pineapples (origin South America) came back with Columbus in 1493.
At that moment the ship suddenly stopped rocking and swaying, the engine pitch settled down to a gentle hum. 'Hey Ford.' said Zaphod, 'that sounds good. Have you worked out the controls on this boat?' 'No,' said Ford, 'I just stopped fiddling with them.' (With thanks to Douglas Adams)

Hm I could have sworn they did but it seems the "grapes" that came with the first caesar figure are listed on playmodb as "flower bouquet"  :o

How can they not have grapes?  ???

My GOODNESS this guy is absolutely incredible! He's basically done an entire Greek theme entirely on his own, many more sets than the official one, and with a very distinct and lush style, plus sets from several other ancient cultures (Egyptian, Levantine, Persian), as well as some Victorian dios. His stuff is indescribable! I'm scrolling through his insta and I want to repost every pic here! but there are too many!

UNBELIEVABLE
