Exactly, Tiermann.

I WANT the new greek ones. But some are HUGE... and shipping, well..

The pm de people on THAT site hinted (imo) that they might be ("be surprised", or something like that) - they did say the gods would come to other countries, and the masks, so maybe they changed the staff there? And they actually know something? Before the normal answer (if you got one) was a "there's nobody at the office now, we'll get back to this"...

So.. I am hopeful.. might get a couple of small ones, but will wait a while for the large ones (that I REALLY should't get anyway - more system X, yet another roman ship.. and another green hydra - same one, right? That one is really lame. Should be another color!)

The set with the hydra has a unique colored vulture, deer and unique paint on the boar. So it's a must have for me.

Yes, for me as well, but the hydra is huge, and a repeat :(

  • Did the Greeks have barrels?
(closed quote, GrahamB)

No, they used amphora like the Romans. Barrels didn't become common in the Mediterranean until about the 1st or 2nd century AD. They originated in Gaul and spread from there during the Roman Empire eventually replacing the amphora as the main transport container.

The Gauls traded with the Greeks and Romans so barrels would have existed in those cultures as imported goods but they were probably confined to port cities and would have been very rare elsewhere.
