Detectives Dodson and Snider are confronting a suspect about evidence found on the crime scene.
In spite of an Emmy-worthy good cop/bad cop performance by the detectives, the perp is playing tough.
On the other side of the one-way mirror stands ADA Shea. He knows the duo never fail to obtain a confession, even if it means resorting to
unorthodox methods.
That's one such occasion. Since the suspect won't say a word, detective Snider heads off the room. Some minutes later, he is back holding a cooler.
Putting on his best tough cop face, he slams the cooler on the table, sending evidence flying.
Before the perp can realize what's going on, the detectives are enjoying an ice cream cone each.
"Can I have one too", asks the suspect?
"Ice cream's for talkers."
