As a kid, I and a friend sometimes used to shoot with ... Lego at our klickies.
We had built a kind of crossbow with Lego. We used rails from the Lego Train theme, 2 put next to each other, and then several more after one another. On the rails you could put other Lego pieces upside down and with a strong, large elastic band you could shoot them away with rather high velocity. One shot easily whiped out a Playmobil gun-position and it´s artillery-crew. No klicky ever died, but some sustained "serious injuries". Actually it was a rather dangergous thing if I think about it now, good we never fired it at each other or at another person, or at my grandma´s porcelain cabinet. The US Navy and the Chinese Navy (PLAN) are now developing magnetic "railguns" to shoot at one another, though I´m not sure if they too use Lego for it.
