My Zeus and Athena are Play + Give. There's a 14.5 by 21 cm fold out mini poster picturing Zeus and Athena that I assume came with them, instead of the info cards (at least I haven't found any info cards for Zeus and Athena).

Assuming I've found the right number, the box numbers are 30916504/PE (Athena) and 30916494/PE (Zeus). It's too dark right now to take pictures, so I'll try to do those another day.

Neato! Noted. Yes, they look like the right numbers, so I'll put them in. There's another thread about the Gods that I bet would be a good place to post the poster, when you can.

At the moment [boxes] don't link back to the sets where they came from - that would add them to the main inventory for a set and throw my count off. But I'll see what I can do to fix that, make it more useful.

Fixed. On set-pages there is now a "Extra parts not included in inventory" section, containing packaging, replaced parts, anything odd that shouldn't be in the main inventory but is associated with the set; and part-pages have a "Sets in which this part is extra to inventory" section, the reverse.

e.g.:
30 91 6494 - Set box for 9149 (Play and Give)
9149 - Play and Give Zeus

Hi again, Heather!

I've located some of my paper items and I've tried to check the db to see if you have them - so far, I seem to have 3 folded paper items that you don't have: Jungle 30895580/04.00  (I'm assuming that means it was printed in April 2000), Victorian 3088518/04.96 and one really old "Playmobil System" one that doesn't have a number or date printed on it.

I have a lot more stuff, including mini-catalogs, price list booklets, Add-ons catalogs, small catalogs (10.5cm x 15cm), full size catalogs.  Am I right that the Playmodb part number search function doesn't work for the paper items?  Can it be tweaked to handle paper item searches?  It's hard to look through the whole 5 page list of numbers as they don't seem to be in numerical order.

Please let me know how these items can be useful to Playmodb.   :)

I AM SUCH A DODO
If only I had looked at the top or bottom of the Playmodb page where it says, "Sort above results by... Part number ... Description ... Colour ... Date first appearing" . . .

(Thanks, Graham!)

Thanks Ismene and Indianna! Ismene, just a list like that is easy for me to check, no worries. Of regular sets, I have 4739, 5410, 5591, 9149, 9150; the rest are new to me. The German policeman has a "30 79" number, so I had that: 30 79 4863 - Prussian Soldier. I still haven't hit upon a good way of cataloguing sets without any numbers like the PCC promos. (I think the "30 82" and "30 91" numbers are the packaging.) When I do, I'll use that info, though, so thank you.

Actually for anyone typing up numbers, the whole string like "FS195/5410/30960883/PDu" is great because the FS195 part is the same for all box dimensions and type (blister, hangtab, clamshell, sleeve, top/bottom etc.)! so I can look that up as well, given that string of characters. (The box-type is (for some) in the part name; dimensions display is a "coming soon" feature.) I don't know for sure what the end couple of characters like "PDu" mean, but I bet they mean something, so I'm keeping them in.

Indianna, don't feel dumb... it's really hard for me to test the site for usability, since I'm staring at it non-stop and know exactly how it works! So that's a failure of the site, not you. I've put the sort feature at the top too - hope that helps.

Carry on, this is all useful stuff! [nerd meter in the red zone]

Oh, the first part is the package type! Here are all the boxes I've found (though I won't rule out the possibility of there being lurkers somewhere else). The ones with asterisks are from the initial list.

So . . . . now that I've figured out how to read and use instructions . . . . .

I have found several posters, 2 bonus stickers, 2 unused sticker pages, some un-numbered stickers, plus several folded papers, mini-catalogs, and medium catalogs that don't appear on Playmodb (haven't checked everything yet, though.)

Heather, shall I send you scans of the front pages along with the numbers?  If so, shall I post those here or should I email them to you?  Regarding the posters, I could try taking a picture of the whole thing with my phone - the quality might not be great but I think you only show thumbnails, anyway.  I also have 2 large plastic bags each with different printing but both with the number 87052 - I think these were given out by FAO Schwarz back in the day when they were a proper toy store.   :'(

This is turning into an excellent organizational exercise!  8}  ;D

Sounds great... it is fun to look through all this stuff, isn't it! I have a zippered binder just for catalogues in sheet protectors, and it is HEAVY. Lists: yes, a photo of the cover with the number showing is great - if I need full scans of something I'll ask. Email is fine, although I bet anyone still reading this far would like to see some of the rarer things. Items without numbers (stickers etc) I can't do anything with. Posters - yes, a cellphone shot is good - I might post 200- to 500-pixel thumbnails, just so people can see which one it is, but not huge fullsize prints.

Ismene, I'm halfway through your list! Getting there!
