Thanks Ismene and Indianna! Ismene, just a list like that is easy for me to check, no worries. Of regular sets, I have 4739, 5410, 5591, 9149, 9150; the rest are new to me. The German policeman has a "30 79" number, so I had that:
30 79 4863 - Prussian Soldier. I still haven't hit upon a good way of cataloguing sets without any numbers like the PCC promos. (I think the "30 82" and "30 91" numbers are the packaging.) When I do, I'll use that info, though, so thank you.
Actually for anyone typing up numbers, the whole string like "FS195/5410/30960883/PDu" is great because the FS195 part is the same for all box dimensions and type (blister, hangtab, clamshell, sleeve, top/bottom etc.)! so I can look that up as well, given that string of characters. (The box-type is (for some) in the part name; dimensions display is a "coming soon" feature.) I don't know for sure what the end couple of characters like "PDu" mean, but I bet they mean something, so I'm keeping them in.
Indianna, don't feel dumb... it's really hard for me to test the site for usability, since I'm staring at it non-stop and know exactly how it works! So that's a failure of the site, not you. I've put the sort feature at the top too - hope that helps.
Carry on, this is all useful stuff! [nerd meter in the red zone]
