There are rumours that the Movie figures series 1 are available in Benelux! I will check the shops this week!

I just took a closer look at the figures, did anyone else notice as well that the prints on the figures (and I'm talking about the clothing, not the faces) are also "cartoonish"? Now I'm doubting this will fit (after replacing the heads with normal heads) together with the other Playmobil klickies...

They are giving the movie figures with the meals at the funpark. Series 1+2. There is no understanding them..

I like most of them, but the crosseyed look drives me insane (like the moronic look the spirit ones have - I would really like their faces, if not printed on the forehead)

I wonder how long the historical themes are going to be heavily influenced by this comic book weirdness. :hmm: Lego has been doing this nonsense for a few years, which is why I turned to Playmobil. I'm trying to buy up all of the good Playmobil sets now while they're still available because I'm afraid this weird phase is going to last a long time. :-\

These days, nothing sells unless it's related to comic books or some well known 1980s franchise like Star Wars or Ghostbusters. I love original, realistic, historic stuff.

I was just looking over all the new stuff coming out soon, and the only thing that I find appealing is the Indian chief with the peace pipe. The new pirates aren't as bad as the knights sets, but they're pretty goofy looking with strange colors (a brown table, but with a green bench?)
