Real Cannon with Playmobil
« on: January 06, 2019, 22:40:00 »
I want to share with you my latest project.
When I was a kid I dreamed one day I will finally be able to hear a playmobil cannon ROARING, and no more making sound with my mouth.
And cut to today...I MADE IT.

Below you can find a very quick firing sequence, place is british colonies in the 18th century, British vs French like in the Last of the Mohicans.

Bliss! Joy! The pictures are even better than the video. I wish I could come over and play along. Well done!

Best wishes

Astonishing! That last one looks positively cinematic!

Nice work on bayonet mounting by the way.  :)9

Some of the pictures appear to be reversed.

I particularly enjoy the sequence of the last four. Ready ... FLASH BANG ... smoke slowly lifting. Just awesome, I can't get enough.

Thank you all! This weekend I will return to deal with Knights, so no cannon or explosions. But I would like to intrigue you with a word that begins with T and ends with T: T _ _ _ _ _ _ _ t  8-)

Just another Kid's dream I'm working on.

I really hope that something changes at the top of Playmobil. The new "Knights" and "Pirates" series are not so great compared to the glory of the past ...

I just do not understand how chasing the chimera of fast easy money with series related to movies or TV series could help Playmobil. Simplicity should be their trademark but they have lost their way.

Sorry for this complaint
