The 'Mouse' Game (PART 1)
« on: September 10, 2007, 19:51:23 »
Hello  All

As some of you might know by now Derrick is back on the scene after quite a long absence. The klickie himself hadn't gone anywhere, its just that the powers that be decided to keep him in solitary confinement. So for the last 4 years Derrick has been confined to his cell with his mice to keep him company, until now that is. A new Governor P) has taken over the prison and its time for a shake up, starting with Derrick and his mice. Things were quite lax before and Derrick was allowed to get away with quite a lot because the guards wanted a peacefull life :yup:.

The new Governor has different ideas though and is determined to get to the bottom of the mystery mice, where do they come from and where on earth do they go ?

Well here is Part 1 to the story, and an explanation for the commotion that surrounded Derricks cell this afternoon.

The Governor has decided to meet with the head guard and jailor to see if they can come up with an answer to the mice infestation. It is agreed the best way to tackle this problem is to ask Derrick straight and to keep it to the point. I think by now everyone is quite aware of Derrick and his lack of patience ::).

So the question is put to Derrick, quite simply and very diplomatically :prays:. Where do these mice come from and where do they go ? Are you aware of the prisons rules stating that under no circumstances are pets to be kept in cells ? (excluding pet insects, and cockroaches of which prisoner 295 has a substantial collection )

Tell us about the mice Derrick :hmm: !! Oh dear it seems as though Derrick is upset now and has quite clearly had enough of the questioning :hissyfit: :hehe:. After all there are no mice in his cell, he is innocent, surely ::) !!

It is decided that the only way to get to the bottom of the problem is to observe Derrick over an evening to see what he gets up to. A guard will be placed outside his cell and if he hears anything suspicious such as munching noises or squeaking he is to call for the keys to the cell, along with the governor and head guard. Surely then Derrick will be caught red handed and the source of the mice will be found.

Does anyone know where they could possibly come from ? Martin has offered a very imaginative suggestion in the previous thread already  :D !!

Part 2 Follows Tomorrow Evening

Kindest Regards  Tim

 :)
the mice come, as they always do, hiding in the governor's hat.
it was the entry-way they used before and it's the way they are still using now.
they cannot resist the feathers in governors' hats.
the only way to make them come down is to offer them bits of food in old spoons.
as they are really light, they are able to jump down without being spotted.
