That's a nice custom, Marty.  I can vaguely remember seeing CHIPS over here in the UK, although I don't think it was a great hit.  For the younger ones, CHIPS means California Highway Patrols.  Of course, if it had been made today, there woudl have been CHIPS, NYHIPS, MHIPS, LAHIPS etc.

Yes, nice custom! Wich klicky (and from wich set) did you base it on?
CHIPS was on Belgian TV too in the 1st half of the 80's and as a kid I loved watching it!

Resistance is futile, you will be boarded!

GREAT CUSTOM, MARTY !!!

I loved CHiPS ...

I thought that it was a fun and exciting TV show.

Are you going to do a helmet and a motorcycle?

Thanks for bringing back some very nice memories.

All the best,
Richard

I use the torso of the cop from set 3655 and the legs from set 3271. Full repaint in dark sand and add home made transfer of the California Highway Patrol in both arms. Torso is a transfer too.

This is a cool custom  8-)

In Germany CHiPS was running too in my childhood, although I just watched it only seldom (it was already in my childhood to obvious those stereotype shots with the both guys sitting on their bikes like they had swallow a broom and riding the highway endless up and down, so it had become quite boring to me -- I hope I didn't offend here anyone be my assessment of the show :-[)

Nevertheless great custom and I must admit that klickies in general are perfekt to look like somebody who has swallowed a broom  ;D

 Absolutely right, Gordon. So I assume over in the UK you're also flooded by all those CSI stuff  ;)

I never thought about it before, Jochen ...

But, when I was a police officer in Fort Lauderdale (many years ago), I remember that all of our motorcycle cops looked like they had swallowed brooms ...

That is very funny, Jochen ...  ;D

Thank you for a good laugh! ... ;)

All the best,
Richard
