Hello, I'm Darren and have just joined the forum. I found the page after searching for ways to take the figures apart.
I'm not a collector of playmobil, and don't have a lot of figures, buildings or sets, but my interest comes from wanting to create custom characters.

I'm a big fan of the current Ghosbusters sets, along with the new Willy Wonka / Oompa Loompa figures, and playing with figures and sets quite a bit during the week ( I'm a preschool teacher ), got me thinking of other designs and looks I could hopefully try and create.

I've finally managed to get the heads off :) and looking forward to reading all the different posts and finding hints and tips on the best way to do things. And probably starting to build on a collection along the way :)

You will find plenty of inspiration for customising figures on here, just be careful you don't get hooked and turn into....... A Collector!

Welcome! I also enjoy customizing playmobil. :)
I bet you can use playmobil in the classroom to illustrate some topics of your lessons, I know that some people do. I imagine kids like it, too.  ;D
