I insist it is "a" white. Maybe a dark white, but definetily not cream. Okay maybe a very light cream, but not more.

Sorry but then Heather & you are both wrong. 


The colour of Dürer´s belt is very similar as the colour of this pirate´s shirt below, which is in a slightly darker white then other white shirts. Slightly darker white then plain white, but still white and not cream

(in the  playmodb-photo the shirt looks indeed a bit creamy, but in reality it is more like white. It is also described as being white)


The same is true for the colour of the pants of this pirate:

The sleeve-cuffs of this pirate below are in Playmobil´s standard cream colour, which is definitly different and darker then Dürer´s belt.

Ismene is describing the whites as we normally look at paints.....I had a hard time (maybe because I'm a man  ) picking 'white' colour :Ps for my doors.

however, Hadoque, I do have the pirate and the redcoat you used to illustrate your point....for us, that's white, when we separate or match our customs....
I have bought those sashes (worn by that redcoat) for my redcoats and ACW and I accepted them as white, for my customs.....

just another question Hadoque, since you read german....is there any part known to us which Geobra describes as 'white', not that it might not be pure white but its mean to be 'playmobil white'?

That's pale yellow. I would throw out cream that turned that color.
