Holy tzatziki those customs are awesome! And yet again proof that what people want from PM is cultural stuff, not imitation Americanism.

thanks for sharing....at least now I know my customs are not 'overcustomized'  :P
....but we have to keep reminding ourselves 'its what their development team thinks what kids want, today' .....so I carry on waiting by the sidelines until i see a new part I can reasonably use for my cultural themes  ;)

They're wonderful, aren't they? Even the feet are incredible.

No your figures aren't overcustomized, cheng.  But those Greek ones are a bit overdone- fantastic work, amazing detail, but, well, apart from the face they don't resemble playmobil much...

(sorry)
At that moment the ship suddenly stopped rocking and swaying, the engine pitch settled down to a gentle hum. 'Hey Ford.' said Zaphod, 'that sounds good. Have you worked out the controls on this boat?' 'No,' said Ford, 'I just stopped fiddling with them.' (With thanks to Douglas Adams)

No apologies required! I completely agree. Those customs have hardly anything in common with PM. I do *not* like them, and prefer my PM neat.

Best wishes

I actually agree with you guys, those figures represent the far end of PM customization and I definitely would not like to see official sets with that much detail. Nor would I do any such myself. (My own style is ultraconservative - no alterations of parts, no unofficial parts.)

BUT...I greatly appreciate creative work in any style and I feel that this sort of extreme custom enriches the Playmoworld. By showing what is possible and what aspects of the imagination PM inspires, customs like these make the hobby greater for everyone.

Just my opinion! What can I say I love all customs. MOAR
