HEADS UP re: this thread. I love doing this thread, as it keeps me busy when I have a lot of time to kill, but personal issues have been very hard for the past 2 months; my cat of 13 1/2 years died, an old friend died, I was in a car accident, our bank account was hacked & our savings were emptied, & just a few days before Christmas we were told that our landlord was declaring bankruptcy & we would have to move in a few months.
We found a new place, very close by, with plenty of room for Playmobil, and are very busy preparing to move in on Feb 1. Above all, though, I'm simply worn out from all that's occurred & barely have enough energy to pack, & very little spirit left in me right now. For a short while, I'll be limiting my posts to this thread to about one a week, until things are less trying. Throughout all of this, I've been fighting adenovirus & blepharitus in both eyes, & dealing with a lot of pain from my various illnesses. And, I really miss my Lily Cat.
I'll be updating the Facebook version of this thread on a daily basis, as it's ludicrously simple to do & requires no thought or effort.
