Oh and Tim as for Native American accuracy you are going to love what is on the other side of the flap front:

Front artwork

Front artwork after flap opened

Underside of flap (note the cowbow tied to the totem Pole (this would never happen))

Side artwork

Rear artwork (this was also one of the few sets that has an actual image of a human on it)

As always enjoy

Nice one, Mad Hatter! Very interesting artwork.

In the 70s all larger PM boxes (medieval houses, castle, etc) carried on the back a picture of a Playmobüb (not too many girls in my recollection) playing with the toys. I did not know that they continued this for USA exclusives. What is this set's date?

Best wishes

Thanks!

Klickypedia lists this set as a USA export - such may make their way to Canada as well.

Are there any exclusive Canadian releases? :eh?:

Best wishes

StJohn,

I am not aware of any western theme playmobil sets only being sold in Canada and no where else. As for other playmobil sets I would not have a clue as that is not my area of focus. I would assume though that what ever sets are sold in the United States are sold in Canada as well though not always the case.

Set #3028 was available in the US. It first appeared at Target stores back when Target carried pretty much the entire product line.

Yes, terribly inauthentic. Of course I actually have this set - the horses were unique! :D

Next we have Playmobil 3731 (No I did not get this for 7.99, though I wish I had) (If you are wondering why I do not remove price tags, is because the risk to the cover art is to great)

I really like the back of this box, look at the rolling cloud cover, you can almost feel the wind. This is what Playmobil needs to bring back, I am sure there are a lot of you who would be doing this work for free if they allowed you to keep the items they asked you to take pictures of.
