Here's my first one:

"I am a nightmare from which history is trying to awake."



The title is a humorous inversion of a famous line from James Joyce's novel Ulysses:

"History, Stephen said, is a nightmare from which I am trying to awake."

My second entry:

"Let's put our history behind us"



Famous conflicts from history, resolved by little plastic figures hugging one another!

From left to right: Muslim and Crusader, Yankee and Confederate, Prussian and Russian, Celt and Roman, Indian and Conquistador, British and French, Pope and Martin Luther, Chinese and Mongolian, Napoleon and Frederick the Great (okay that one's ahistorical but I thought they looked like a cute couple).
