Cow-Barn and Monastery

So, over the past year I've been getting back into the swing of things, and finally have two of my projects (basically done): the cow-barn and the monastery!

==Cow-Barn========
I loved the pony farm, but I hated the white half-timber parts.  So I bought a can of plastic-friendly, dark brown spray-paint, and went to work fiixing it!  I don't have room yet to incorporate it with the rest of my Steck-village, and the colors aren't a perfect match with the old Steck half-timber, but it looks so much better now!  I took out the ponies, and put in the cows, and soon they'll be ready for milking!

Then there was the monastery.  I've wanted a monastery for a while, but didn't want to lose any my steck parts from the castle.  When the new large castle came out, I knew it'd be perfect!

Great looking custom, really like it with the brown but I would probably paint the doors as well myself. Great idea for using the big castle.

That monastery is just fantastic. Can you imagine a proper new medieval theme, with a monastery set? It would be great but still probably not look as good as yours.

Agree with TM, you should paint the doors too.

Gorgeous!! I agree the monastery is a fabulous idea and well executed, combined with the rock, and the perfect furniture to match.

Brave move, that spray-paint, I would dread it myself. But it worked nicely  8-)

Thanks everybody!

I did think about painting the barn doors, but some of the steck doors and window casements were white. Maybe I'll try to match that light tan color.

Also, I would love any set through which I could get more clergy (of any religion or religious order). Right now my priest is busy in the city church, my nun is busy with the poor, the bishop (Santa) is in his Majesty's court, so the monastery really is a great place for my one monks quiet meditation.
