Hi everyone!
My name is Jeff, and I joined a few months ago and have already gotten some great feedback from many of you - thanks for the warm welcome already. Figured it was high time I actually introduced myself more formally.
While I have been a Playmobil fan since childhood, it was only in the past year that my love of Playmobil has been rekindled. I have a pretty demanding finance-type job, and in the past year, I've so enjoyed the chance to reengage the creativity and fun that is what Playmobil is all about. I also have three young children, and getting down on my hands and knees with them for hours to come up with stories has been a wonderful joy.
My collecting thus far has been purely in the medieval category, and I have amassed a pretty nice collection of steck castle parts and people. I have particularly loved building castles, villages and medieval buildings. I think I've about hit my space capacity for building parts...as well as my marriage's capacity...but continue to acquire parts, people and accessories. I started with my 3450 castle from childhood and in the past 6 months have probably grown my buildings parts about tenfold.
I really look forward to learning from and sharing with you all. Thanks in advance for being willing to open up this quirky, fun part of yourselves! I look forward to doing the same.
