WOW ...

A few moments ago (6:35AM Pacific Time, 2 July 07) I saw that we had 68 Guests here at Playmofriends!

I don't ever remember seeing that many guests.

There's a simple explanation for this phenomenon which isn't very exciting, I'm afraid. ;)

When there's such an unusually large number of "guests" logged on a forum all at once, it's very likely that most of those hits are being created by search engine bots trawling the web - Google, Yahoo, and so on.  :)

Sometimes it even shows the bots are not only viewing pages but doing certain actions like sending a PM when we all know they're not able to do this if they are unregistered. Quite bizarre, really. :P

i am not an example of what i am saying, having been absent for a couple of months, but i would be glad if, instead of 105 guests, i could find 105 members logged in...

Yes, the Yahoo robots are like crazys linking as many websites as they can. We had in Playclicks more than 400 guest  :o

Cachalote, you are right, it will be a very good notice if they were members  :yup:
