Hi everyone!
I keep on customizing my clickies, this time I present you the Blue Dragoons.
They are dragoons from the 18th century, they are called blue because of their coats.
Dragoons were infantry trained to ride into battle and then fight on foot, their main role was scouting and patrolling, fighting was less common.
Blue Dragoons are not based on any existing unit as far as I know, maybe the only ones similar to them are Continental Dragoons from the war of 1812.
My idea was to create a cavalry unit based on the mounted jaegers of American War of Independence but...I have only one green torso (the green guard form the pirate's jail) instead I have many Union Soldiers.

The body is from the special theme "Union soldier"
The Canteen is also from that set.
I love to put on my clickies lots of equipment, look how real they look!

Since black facings are quite rare I decide to give the Blues some black.
Black Facings are also ideal for concealing the dirt: dragoons they take long rides to get behind or scouting the enemy having less time to clean their uniforms.
They are commanded by a Colonel.
I view them as less "virtuos" than line soldiers. Dragoons are tough as nails and don't mind to much at regulations.
Few of them don't fear to show 2 days beard or even full beard.
The Colonel lost the eye fighting the enemy, but in reality he's been captured and tortured.
