Did you repaint Santa and make your own custom accessories?

I asked over at the pcc if these new klickies could come apart to make customs and you go and just make your own from scratch........these turned out so beautiful that I prefer yours over geobras.  You could find some migrant workers and open your own production facility  :elf:

Walter, I made a tutorial on my website how to take apart a 60 cm figure

how to take apart a 60 cm Santa


It is  under customtips

For years when I got my first 60 cm knight I wanted to customize these  figures
Tough they were hard to come by and very expensive

The santa offers lots of possibilities

Making the Accessoires from scratch with plastic and GFK polyester is quite a challenge
But a lot of fun

The hats for example are fully made with GFK and all Handmade
you should see our attic , all dusty now  ;D

Dust....oh the dust ....my damn barn dio's have so much dust that seeds are going to start sprouting in it .

What's GFK?

GFK is a polyesterbased produkt it comes with an activator
once they are mixed you have 3 to 5 min to apply the produkt wich is like fat  mayonaise or pudding
then it starts to harden

in the beginningfase of the hardning the produkt is still very soft and can be sanded in a form with a grit P40
you need to be very fast because the hardning process continues
once hard , it becomes more  hard to sand

I build the kepi in layers
