I was going to post this as a review but as this is more a rant than a review

I decided to post it here.
I really liked the 6150 set (Red carpet Star) when I first saw it was going to be released, so when I found it here in B.A. and could take a look at the box I didn't doubt and got it.
The set is fine, don't get me wrong, the accessories are interesting, even the new-style face seems to work, but I was very disappointed when I opened it.
This is the thing: When I saw the box illustration, but most of all when I saw the back of the box, I said: I HAVE TO HAVE IT.
Look at those shiny, metallic-looking dresses!!!
I feel cheated to say the least. The material and the colors are not even close to what you see in the box, but plain pink and horrible yellow plastic (which to be honest looks worst in real life than in the pic). The plastic of the luggage carrier (is there a name for that?) is very bendy and the red carpet looks like very cheap cartboard.

What upsets me is that the box looks different, and I wanted what the box showed me I was getting.
I understand companies have to embellish the illustrations in their products boxes for commercial reasons, but how much alteration is TOO much alteration? And how much alteration is plain deceit?
This happened lots of times. The one I always remember, and maybe the first time I noticed this issue, was when I got the truck 3817, which looks black and red in the pictures but is in fact
black and HOT PINK!

And it's not only color. It's size too. Everyone I know who got the Special 4765 (woman with lambs) would agree on the lambs looking at least twice as big in the box as in fact they really are.

Maybe some people don't pay too much attention to the boxes, like the woman who bought the pirate ship with the "slave collar" and then complained it was part of the set, but OTHERS DO!
I also understand that a slight change of color is OK, but the question remains; how much is too much and how much is something else?
