Part 8:  Macaws
and: What Toby Didn't See

'Aren't they beautiful birds!' said Mummy.



'We've seen them now,' said Toby.



'Are we going to have lunch now?' said Toby.



'Are we going now?' repeated Toby.



What Toby Didn't See:

Toby was unaware of the off-exhibit Macaw cages.



And the Food Preparation Area.



And Zookeeper Facilities.



Also, because Toby and his parents then went to have lunch, and then did not return past the Macaw enclosure, they did not realise that they missed a couple of exhibits.

They missed the Jaguar Exhibit.









The Jaguar Exhibit has strong fencing leading to the off-exhibit area.









Toby and his parents also missed the Polar Bear Exhibit.





Stairs lead down to an underwater viewing area.





The Polar Bear off-exhibit holding includes outdoor areas and dens.



The female's den also includes a choice of two cubbing dens, should she become pregnant.



There are also adjoining Zookeepers' Facilities.

Excellent use of the Circus arena! Beautiful jaguar exhibit... Love it's behind the scenes area... But the Polar Bear house- :LOVE:

Part 9:  Lunchtime
and: What Toby Didn't See

'I'm looking forward to some lunch,' said Mummy, 'Let's not get desserts here, though.  I saw on the map that there is an ice-cream parlour elsewhere, and I think it would be nice to go there for ice-creams later.'



'Look, there are some play things!' said Toby.

'Well, I think that's for little children who can't sit still when they've finished their meal,' said Mummy.



'We'll go to the real Children's Play Area after our lunch,' Mummy continued.



'Let's collect some trays,' said Mummy.



'There are roast meats,' said Mummy, 'I'm going to have roast beef.'

'I'll just have fries,' said Toby, quickly.



'All these three trays together,' said Mummy to the cashier.



'Ill get the cutlery,' said Daddy.



'Toby, pay attention and eat your lunch,' said Mummy.



'And now we can go to the Children's Play Area,' said Daddy.

'Yippee!' said Toby.



What Toby Didn't See:

Toby didn't notice the swing doors behind the food counter.



Which lead to the restaurant kitchen.





And the staff sitting room.

That´s perfect!

I love the cuterly stand, the boxes for the trays, the shelf in front of the long row of food counters, where you can slip your tray on (genius!!!), the shelves with the color plates.

Again a marvellous set up!
