Follansbee Park
« on: August 21, 2015, 01:09:27 »
As I've mentioned before, I'm disabled, though I don't look it, & am able to lead a somewhat happy existence with my cats, partner, & various hobbies. I don't get out as much as I'd like, though; I'm still teaching myself how to drive again. My life-partner, however, works as a nurse & medical equipment technician, & drives throughout the area on a daily basis, checking on patients, etc. Often, I get to go along for the ride, which gets me out of the house & is a wonderful thing. Every day that I'm out, I take my camera & a few clickies in case the opportunity for pictures arises. Today I spent an hour in the park at Follansbee, WV; this is my hometown & my old family home is next to it, & it's where I grew up. The weather was calm & comfortable & I took pics of a new clickie. Being able to get out & just feel the sun & the breeze, & take Playmobil pics is a GOOD day for me! :)

Some very nice pictures there, its like he is standing at a castle.  :)

Always good to get out too, personly I write quite a bit and tend to take breaks for a stroll just to clear my head. Haven't thought about taking clickies along for that though, people tend to be VERY judgemental/eager for any kind of gossip in my village.

It was like that in my hometown. I once stepped onto my porch at 3 AM & my parents heard about it from one of my neighbors the next day. Since then, I've learned that the locals will talk about me no matter what I do, so I might as well do what I want & let them gossip all they want. Poor, bitter, unsatisfied people, who don't have Playmobil to make them happy. :)

:hatoff: What a great way to spend your time, enjoying your hobby and sharing your photos with us on here. I hope you have lots more opportunities to get out and about with the klickys! Dismiss all thoughts of the sad people with nothing better to do in their lives, your imaginative and creative photos give us a lot of pleasure.

What were your neighbors doing up at 3 AM?
