I agree the Greek God Posseidon was portrayed as a muscled, legged man  ;D
But the combo of pants, bare feet and green scales all over his body is beyond weird.

...Turns out the sale WASN'T still on, bit since the signs were still up & I asked, I got the the sale price, all clickies at $1.79 each...

I love it when that happens! Sometimes just a polite request can open all sorts of doors (or a jobsworth store assistant on minimum wage and minimum degree of 'can be bothered to challenge the customer' perhaps?).

This was a great find. I can just imagine you upside-down in the Figures bin, legs waving in the air as you did a deep dive in search of What Lurks At the Bottom. I spend my whole life wandering the back streets of small obscure towns searching for forgotten toyshops with dusty Playmobil stock from the 1980s....

At that moment the ship suddenly stopped rocking and swaying, the engine pitch settled down to a gentle hum. 'Hey Ford.' said Zaphod, 'that sounds good. Have you worked out the controls on this boat?' 'No,' said Ford, 'I just stopped fiddling with them.' (With thanks to Douglas Adams)

That vid has been blocked in my country. BUT! Even if Neptune had no pants, you must know that PM doesn't do nudity! I mean, you can't expect them to show everything...

It was an unexpectedly good afternoon, as I didn't think I'd even be getting out of the house, let alone driving to Pennsylvania. King Neptune made my day, most certainly. As for his feet, I wonder if PM could ever come up with webbed feet or hands?  8} Speaking of which, I'd love to see clickies for Greek, Roman, & Egyptian mythology.

SERIOUSLY!? By the Gods. It's just the intro to Xena: Warrior Princess. MORONS.

I didn't expect nudity, but to give him ragged scaly pants is ridiculous, as it was pointed out... I still think he'd be MUCH better with a mertail (and I STILL think Poseidon has a mertail!), if not give him naked legs with a loincloth-like thingie...

YES, you and many many many others...

Tahra, I'm surprised you didn't catch the most egregious error on that Neptune: his crown has crosses on it. Rather inappropriate for a god who antedated Christ by millennia.

Dunno about that.. probably they took his!  :P

(I blame Salmoneus... after all, he named the Olympic Games (besides coming up with the symbol), came up with wristwatches (SUNNEX), and Gods know what else.. )
