I think this is a great idea.  Mabe it would inspire PM to introduce more two and three story city buildings and elevated stations.  Of course this would be a boon for those who love to build with PM and that is not a trend with PM.     :(

Yeah, like I said not very realistic, but we can dream and you just never know with this company. I did post the idea in the suggestions thread at PCC too.

A Monorail is a great idea, this would fit perfect to so many citylife-themes and the zoo, of course  ;D

But as you already said, not very realistic as the last train-sets didn't seem to be a big success.
