The nation of Tonguestone had mobilised. First to the field was the First Regiment - known as the 'Borderers'.

These lads meant business.  They never shirked a fight, but they were used sparingly being the elite corps within the Tonguestone Host.

The 7th Battalion of Slaken's Fusiliers lined up along side the Borderers.

The Slaken's as they were well known, were a 'no frills' Battalion - recently formed but with a reasonable pedigree - they were a fighting a battalion in every sense.

Guarding the right wing, the 4th Regiment of Light Foot Guards, better known as the 'Rumbleoirs'.  They were an unknown quantity - having been formed from a population on the fringes of Toungestone.

There was some suggestion that these lads were dandy's - with their bright feathers and flashy hats.  Well, we'd soon see.

In amongst the Rumbleoirs there were hard bitten soldiers who'd seen active service for many a hard soldering year.

In reserve, Belcher's Guard - another elite regiment.  The heroes of Tannydown, and several other engagements.  They formed the strategic reserve for the right side of the field.

The forces for Tonguestone were lining up.

Including a reformed group now known as 'the Second Unit'.

Lets hope they live up to their predecessors.

But what of the opposition?  What of....

Bentenbean?

Well, here they come.

On the Bentenbean right wing, the 22nd Corp, better known as the Eastern Division.  If there was a tougher group on the battlefield, I'd like to know them because this crowd were as brave and hardy as they come

To their left, and coming through the centre of the field, the 10th Legion of Guards.  A famous unit, almost as well known as Belchers.

Marching towards the Rumbleoirs were the Bentenbean Greys.

Whilst in reserve - the Eggington's Grenadiers.

And on the left wing, the The Indestructibles, the 14th Line Battalion.

The Indestructibles were a unit drawn from a variety of different parts if the country and were very cosmopolitan.

The Bentenbean Greys closed within firing distance of the Rumbleoirs.

As the Indestructibles engaged the Second Unit.

The Eastern Division was firing at the Fusiliers and they in turn were replying (luckily their rifles were able to fire were the newly designed bayonets ;))

The casualties soon started to mount.

The Fusiliers were having much the worst of it.

But they held.

And yet still the Division advanced.

Their Commander was impressed with the progress.
