O * M * G (Oh my God), what to do with this? It is a pity to see how some toys can be so neglected. I was allowed to take this with me to recover the RC motor, and repair another Playmobil RCE with it. But I am in doubt to clean this RCE and to change it into a dummy EMU for my Playmobil RCE. Can you still follow it  ???

That's too bad. Might be a candidate for a paint job to a custom livery?

The cab windscreen might be a problem to replace. If it's the same as the older version, I may have a spare.  I know I have for the passenger area.

I have two parts, but there is only one part in the picture. At the moment is everything cleaned up and spare parts on their way  ;).

O dear! Looks as if it was a perfect spare parts source...  :-\.

Öha, scheint eher ein perfekter Ersatzteilspender zu sein  :-\.

That was a lot of parts to clean up. From Playmobil direct service I received two new bogies with wheels and coupling hooks. Those bogies are from the Playmobil Panorama Express car. On eBay I found a new bogie, four table tops, two current pick-up's and new windows for the cab and the passenger cabins. I still owned a bogie from the Playmobil electric locomotive, and the wheels from that bogie will be placed in the empty motor housing. Too make a long story short: there is still a lot of work to do  8}

Marco,

Where did you pick up the steel wheels and are these a Playmobil part or after market? I would love to remove all the plastic wheels off my playmobil train cars and replace with the ones you show if they are actual playmobil parts.

Sincerely,
James
