Playmobil Porsche 911 Carrera S Review

I am awaiting for the 2 playmo 911's to arrive to make a review , when they arrive i will be writing up this review buit couldnt wait to write this intro !!!

I left my office early today knowing the 911's have arrived !  . I got two of them one stays boxed and the other is shown below. the color is pretty impressive matches very nicely a late red color ;i thought it was guards red at the beginning but it looks like more of the current red color... proportionally the 911 (991)  is spot on and the attention to detail is superb. from the two different type of alloys to the interior, mirrors, badges etc. The front badge is already printed and is just super. Easy to put together the stickdrs for the front bumpers need a bit of attention . LED are superb front and rear and also by pressing the button twice the interior lights up two with the beautiful blue. Quality is really good and separates itslef form some other current sets i have seen and disappointed with the plastic quality. Overall I give this set 10 out of 10 but my opinion is already biased as I am a Porsche enthusiast .

Yes !  The extra parts are identical  to the Aerokit  front and rear bumper for the GT3 model so it does transform the 991 from a Carrera S to a GT3 !!!

Exceeded Sir Tim. The LEDs are super and as the proportions are correct its an exact replica and bigger than 1:18 models plus you can get two klickys in !!!!

Nice review, Giorginetto! I am almost tempted to get one myself (29,99 Euro on amazon.de!) but its not really my theme.

Does anyone know whether Geobra are planning other luxury car issues? If the 911 represents a particular collaboration with Porsche SE, then might we expect Playmobil cars from brands such as Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, Škoda, Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Ducati, VW Commercial Vehicles, Scania, MAN, etc. (this is a list from Wikipedia of companies and brands Porsche SE had a controlling interest in late in 2013)?

I would buy a splittie though my wife says I am a Morris Traveller person. I don't expect to see Morris cars in Playmobil anytime soon!

Great review of a much anticipated and begged for set. It's great to finally see it make the rounds amongst collectors. I know we will be getting as many as possible. This is a good example why I always like playmo cars to have proper side mirrors, it just make them look complete.
