Daß die Fenster so gerade sitzen, liegt weniger an meinen Sägekünsten als mehr daran, daß sie ja am Fachwerk anliegen. Das gibt die entsprechende Ausrichtung.

It's less due to my perfect cutting that those windows are neatly fitting than the fact, that they're "leaning" against the timber framing  .

Nachdem mich gestern eine Großlieferung erreicht hatte, konnte ich gleich weiterbauen: Die Schloßkirche zu Wittenberg, DER zentrale Ort der Reformation.

As an important delivery made my day yesterday, works could go on: Wittenberg Schloßkirche is THE central location of 1517 Protestant Reformation showing details such as the Door of Theses or the big windows subsisting from my first display of 2007.


Viele Sonderteile wie Fenster und Thesentüre sind noch von 2007 erhalten, als das Dio erstmals in WOB ausgestellt wurde.

Während die Schloßkirche auf die passenden Dächer (die mit dem großen Ausschnitt zum Reingucken) wartet, geht's endlich an die Wartburg. Torhalle, Vogtei und Ritterhaus bilden den ersten Gebäudekomplex.

While Schloßkirche's put aside waiting for fitting roof plates,  I'm proceeding with the first Wartburg buildings: Torhalle, Vogtei and Ritterhaus make one building. Hard to copy using Playmobil as each roof has a different incline and walls are standing in strange angels while Playmobil Steck allows only rectangular constructions.




Die unterschiedlichen Dachneigungen des Originals sowie der Umstand, daß die Häuser nicht rechteckig zueinander stehen, macht die Umsetzung mit Playmobil nicht ganz einfach, da im Stecksystem nur eine Dachneigung und rechte Winkel möglich sind.

Das Dach der Dirnitz in der Mittelburg weist inzwischen eine große "Gaube" auf - mal schauen, ob ich die hinkriegen werde. First attempt to copy the "double roof" (or big dormer) of the Dirnitz.

(Gestern war noch Gartenbastelwetter  ).

Die Zeit vergeht, und der Bau schreitet voran.


Die Riesengaube ist fertig, ...


... das Grundgerüst für den Zwischenbau steht,...


...und diese seltsamen Fachwerkanbauten sind auch fertig (die Dächer waren recht pfriemelig).

As time passes by works proceed. The big dormer's finished, a skeleton of the middlesection accomplished and those peculiar half timbered buildings consummated. And finally the first character's created as well: Die Lutherin Katharina von Bora, former nun and Luthers wife.

So...

...sollte Katharina von Bora, vormals Nonne und dann Luthers Ehefrau und Hausherrin aussehen.


Und das ist die Lutherin in Playmobil.

Wonderful work! Those buildings look amazing, and it's incredible how you managed to make that dormer/double roof from playmobil parts

And I learned a new German word today, it's "pfriemelig". Love it!

And the lady also looks great - interesting use of the shoulder bag thing!

Freut mich, daß es gefällt. Bei der Tasche habe ich ein wenig mit Heißkleber nachgeholfen. Nice to see you like it. The bag's fixed with the help of some glue.

Definitely worth knowing - unbedingt wissenswert  .
