Playmobil 3 car EMU

Recently I bought several second hand items that, I hope, will become a Playmobil 3 car electrical multiple unit.
The items I bought are —>

Sinds kort beschik ik over diverse tweedehands spulletjes dat, naar ik hoop, een driedelig treinstel van Playmobil wordt.
Dat zijn —>

— Remote control from Belgium, bought on eBay / Afstandsbediening uit België gekocht op eBay.
— Coupling rods from Germany, bought on eBay / Koppelstangen uit Duitsland gekocht op eBay.
— Parts from former electrical locomotive from a person in Lienden / Restanten van een electrische locomotief van iemand in Lienden.



Send by mail / onderweg met de post —>
— 3 car EMU with broken motor and without remote control from Germany, bought on eBay / 3 delig treinstel met kapotte motor en zonder afstandsbediening, uit Duitsland, gekocht op eBay.
— Quartz set for remote control by Playmobil online / Kwarts paar voor afstandsbediening op website Playmobil.

It is quite a gamble, but I hope this will be soon a Playmobil trainset / Het is een gok, maar ik hoop dat het een mooi treinstel wordt !

Sounds exciting, and maybe just the sort of version Playmobil should have made (the cycle/car optional centre carriage is far too heavy).

I've often thought that the red coach (http://www.playmobil.co.uk/Passenger-Train-Car/6342.html?cgid=Transport&showSpareParts=false#start=11) would make a good electric or diesel multiple unit (http://static.progressivemediagroup.com/uploads/imagelibrary/nri/railway/news/South%20West%20Trains%20455%20class%20EMUs.jpg).

Today I received in good order a 3-car Playmobil electrical multiple unit. The cars are terrible dirty and has to be cleaned. So, the coming days I have a lot to do! / Vandaag kwam per post een 3-delig Playmobil treinstel. De wagen zijn vreselijk vuil en moeten schoongemaakt worden. De komende dagen heb ik dus genoeg te doen!

Playmobil is considered a toy train, but that will not say it is less complicated. The two bogies in the middle are still missing, they will send later. / Playmobil mag dan wel een speelgoedtrein zijn, dat wil niet zeggen dat het minder gecompliceerd is. De twee draaistellen in het midden mis ik nog, die komen later per post.

Naja, so wie DU damit umgehst, war es glaub' ich auch nicht gedacht, als man meinte, es sei ein Spielzeug  8} - maybe that's, 'cause the way YOU're dealing with it surely's not what they had in mind when announcing it a toy  8-). But it seems to be a neat piece of work!

Das schaut aber schon mal sehr ordentlich aus, was Du da aufgebaut hast!

Any Playmobil item is difficult to take apart, and I've never succeeded with the 4018 train.  A guide to how you did it would be useful at some time.

Nice clean up job. I don't know why but even though we have a few of this train it is our least favorite one. I think the design is cartoon-ish. The other playmo trains seem to be a good toy to real balance.   It also has to do with the blue and yellow combo. If the windows were tinted grey, the undercarriage dark grey or black and the seats a leatherly brown I think it would look less cartoon-ish
