Thank so much you everyone for the sweet comments

The grass and the fencing looks amazing too.

I got two of those fence sets from DS as package deals (€18,49 instead of €21,49, they're still available).

I've been attaching wallpaper with tiny tiny pieces (the tiniest I can make them) of poster putty, a piece in each corner and one or two more down the viewing/photograph side.  There are corresponding tiny bumps in the paper, but if the paper used is at least ordinary printer paper thick and the wallpaper is patterned, it rarely shows. I have noticed, however, that after a week or two, the paper often sags/curls in the middle of the sheet - I've no idea why, but if there is a time between fixing the wallpaper and taking photos of it, I do need to check and to refix some pieces.

Hmm, thanks for the tip, I might try that... And the poster putty doesn't leave scratches on the paper underneath, if you pull it off?

If you 'roll' it off, by using a larger piece of putty, just rolling it over the stuck-on pieces, it leaves what looks like grease marks on the underside of the wallpaper.  But those marks don't show through to the front side unless it is very thin paper.  I've reused wallpapers and floor coverings several times.

Ah but it's not the new wallpaper I'm trying to save, it's the original Playmobil wallpaper underneath.

I understand: sorry, I wasn't thinking about original wallpaper; I'm only accustomed to plain System X walls!

It could leave grease spots on the original wallpaper, I'm thinking.  Depends how absorbent it is.  I don't think I'd risk it all over unless I had an area to test it on first.

Wonderful job, Birdie!  Your choice of wallpaper is beautiful and right on scale.  You did a great job on the drapes as well.  What a treat to see the pictures.  I've had pretty good luck using rubber cement with wallpaper, but I'd try a test piece to be sure.

Thanks a lot, Joe and Sunflower  :)

I don't really have a solution for the wallpapers yet, but I did do some flooring today:
First floor: Master bedroom, bathroom, hallway

Second floor: Grandpa's room, bathroom, sunroom

I'm happy with the glossy photopaper for the tile floors. Shiny!  8-)
Don't know how I feel about the wooden floor.

Love the tiled floors
Personally I think I would choose a wood floor with more brown in it rather than the bluish tinge (or is that just the photo?)
However with what you have done so far, I think you have done a great job.
