A strange mish-mash of figures and "ideas", goodness knows where Playmobil think they are going, but the final destination may not be a good one.  Sadly, there are some good ideas there which would have fitted in well with the original Playmobl approach, the bald knight is one.

Thanks for sharing! There are some new sets there. Can't say I'm in love with their faces, but I do like some of the new hair... Though that first bald guy creeps me out a bit.
I'm glad that I'm not the only one :)

These sets don't look too bad. Not good enough to buy, but for kids I think theyre super. Of course it will all depend on the quality of the show. If the show is pants, there's little chance kids will take ti this. I wonder what the articulation is like with the big ogre guy, and how the molds used will be reused on other figures eventually.

Think I will just skip these sets alltogether.

I mean.. now that they have worked out how to make bald heads I think that this might be the most likely thing from these sets to make it into other sets. And with a proper playmobil face. Maybe some other items that fit regular playmobil might make it there too, they could use parts of that medieval stage in another set but with a cloth tent since this one looks plastic.

Besides, there will be a lot of pirates comeing out this year and since today we are allowed to speak about it.  :)
Sadly the sets themselves are mostly rubbish, but the pirates in them look great.  So dont worry about not getting your fix of pirates this year.

By the way, it isn't just adult collectors who dislike all the new faces lately. The other day I brought out some mall sets for my seven year old niece, and she looked at one of the klickys with fancy eyes and red lips and said, "she's wearing too much make-up." I thought that was cute.

Heh well don't underestimate how fussy children can get about their toys too!  :)

As a kid I was already annoyed by the lack of common soldiers in any historic theme, there where always more knights and officers. I wanted the siege tower more for the many soldiers that came with it than the actual siege tower.  :-[  It had five common soldiers in a single set.
While I did love the knights, even as a kid I prefered to get more soldiers and the knights could lead them. Now I kind of regret that it stopped me from buying some sets like the ox cart knight because I did not want another fat knight (already had two) so I overlooked all the other great parts and the great female clicky that came with it.

I did see on the PCC  that most of these sets are compatible with the regular Klickies and that these are "thinner" to better represent teenagers...

Thanks for sharing! My heart is breaking by the idea to say goodbye to the type of klicky I've known my whole life... Hopefully they will both stay available.
