Very understandeable, I can only imagine how much unwanted pink toys, clothes, etc any girl might get during their childhood at birthdays and such. Even if you wanted the very same thing in another color but got the pink one just because youre a girl.

Personly I just received the occasional unwanted construction toy and such which I had no interest in.

It's so weird though that while in recent years eyes are opening and theres far more awareness about gender roles and such, and somehow Playmobil is actually going backwards with it considering earlier years. Well I gues its pretty much the same for quite some years now.. Always a few over the top girly themes that makes you almost want to vomit just by looking at them.  :-\

And also keeping various themes specifically for boys and really trying to exclude girls by either not having any or just one female character in the entire batch and outright focusing on war and nothing else, with every set being about making war.

Yes, I agree. The girls themes which used to me neutral are now specifically marketed to them and the boy themes which used to be more normal are getting more violent with less and less civilians. What gives Geobra, have an agenda to push on children? The excuse that kids chose is a cop-out to me. Stand your ground and stay neutral and innocent not polarized and violent.

Yes. But it is sad to see playmobil going that way.

I think this was pointed out before (and by someone else too!) . it may sound corny, but I wanted playmobil to be BETTER than everyone else... "better than, above"..
