The lost chapter.
« on: January 09, 2015, 15:53:05 »
As I mentioned this last summer when taking the pictures of the last three chapters of my medieval story: I lost the first batch. Accidentally deleted all pictures instead of just one. With recovery I did manage to recover a portion of it, but I had to reshoot everything.. it wasnt useable anymore.
Since it took me about two months to take all the pictures and it included a very difficult siege battle that took up most time, I changed the story around and made it quite different so that I did not have to repeat the exact same thing and did not have to put myself through shooting that siege battle again.

In the end I must admit that while the field battle may not have been as grand as the siege battle, all other parts did fit in better and I got to improve on quite a few other things outside the battle.

So without further ado, I present to you all the lost chapter. The story that could have been.

I didn't edit them down to a smaller size since its not for an actual story and it takes quite some time. It's just the unedited pictures. I'll skip the first two pictures since they where the only stuff I could still use, they where the first two pictures of Shadows and Kings.

In this version, Henry went to retrieve the Krinflower and Roderick and Frederick went to the tower to watch him leave.

Henry finds it with help of a little girl with a red hood, who he saved from a wolf. (the intention was to let the girl say something about this always happening to her when she wears her red hood.) He then gets into a fight with a highlander.

In the meanwhile Frederick and Roderick where preparing the defences of the castle, and Baron Blacktower got kidnapped during a hunting trip. As in the second version, the Blue Shadow is forced to drink the cure he proposed to his own poison first.

In this version, the Lion castle belonged to Prince Edward from the start. He had his armies gathered here and the Baron and Jory where put in prison here before they march out to attack.

Roderick is send to see where Baron Blacktower went, sees the approaching Lion army and returns to report, so that preperations are made.

The Dread Baron was defeated in this version basicly by all knights ganging up on him when King Richard returns.
