5482 Large Asian Battle Dragon




I got this set sometime ago (along with the rest of the asian boxed dragons), but I needed to sort all the asians together, so, only got to them now...

The headless dragon was CREEPY (shown before on the PROCESS, I think).




And the box is about empty (also before on the PROCESS):



The set came with a couple of extras - a peg thingie for swords, a glove and a sword!

The guy is, as usual, a tank: he has two samurai swords, a dagger and a "Sinbad" cutlass. And AGAIN the neckpiece and big helmet combo that doesn't really work.

The dragon... he is HUGE. I hadn't really noticed that before.. he's BIG and GORGEOUS!  :love:



He has a lot of articulation - the neck, head, jaw, shoulders, hands, legs and wings.






The wing design/color is (as has been the case lately) stunning. And he has sort of a ... fishy tail. Very nice.

As I had noted way back then, he has a(nother) useless blinky-winky. I TRIED to show it, but.. well.. Doesn't work much better in the plastic, in case you're wondering:

It goes from the scruff of his neck...

The dragon also has a BEAUTIFUL huge spear.





Very very very nice, though it looks strange on his hand, since he doesn't really hold it - there's a peg that goes in his hand.

Strangely, the guy rides the dragon on that flamy scruff. Odd.

I think he's an interesting one, certainly has his own personality. It helps that he is the one in the app game so you can get familiar with how his flame thing works and the way he always takes a deep breath before belching fire. As I said, personality.

I like both of them, can't really pick a favourite.
But as you said Tahra, it is pretty odd to ride a dragon inside a flaming torch on top of its head.

those wings are spectacular! They are all gorgeous but I think if I was going to invest in one, he would be my dragon of choice ...
