Wow, brilliant ideas on the game booths. They really are just like you presented. The floating barrels in a kiddie pool, perfect. The basketball game, so simple but spot on. The target shooting, great use of a strange part. The balloon pop, western arrows, never would have thought of that solution.

Then all the animals, country rockers and food contests, looks just like our county fairs.

Great dio bb.

I think your carnies need to be a bit weirder though, ours seem to always be way out there.

Also more fences around the rides to give separation and a sence of safety
If you hear the sound of the bell which will tell you that Grigori has been killed, if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family will remain alive. They will be killed by the Russian people. :prays:

Thank you so much, everyone.

Yeah, we have reeeeally creepy carnies at our fairs too. It makes you a bit afraid to be there after dark. In fact, this year Chris and I were stalked in the parking lot on the way to our car, and had to loop back around to the entrance and wait for thicker crowds before we tried it again. We reported it to the police on our way out. But it occurred to us that in order for a person to think he could escape after mugging someone in the parking lot, he must have actually worked there.

Ras, you're right, I was thinking we need fences around the rides. It's hard to make fences look right in a dio, though. They don't blend in like they do in real life. After all my zoo dios, I need a break from fooling with fences.

Even without the fences it looks great! I think the lighting is what makes it so awesome. Did you use little Christmas lights for it?

Makes me want to try something like this after I complete my zoo (which at the present rate will be next year since I want the new zoo parts and animals for the zoo and the outdoor adventure.) Plus I still need to get the rest of the Amusement Theme items
I'm glad that I'm not the only one :)

They were actually just some tiny light strings that I found at a party store, and then the lights inside the buildings are submersible lights meant for flower arranging. Both kinds came from the wedding decor section. I may do a how-to topic and show some pictures of them later.

As soon as I can get the alpacas, I think I'm going to set up my zoo again. I've added so many exhibits, I'm kind of dying to set it all up.

So true. The petting zoo at ours this year even had a camel and a baby zebra.

Really!? Petting a camel?! Gods, brave people. (though of course, I have NO experience at ALL with them... gorgeous, but... they seem to have a mood?)

Wonderful!  The game booths with all their hung up prizes are my favourite parts.

Very clever to take the photo of the boat swings in action.  I totally failed trying to take a photo like that.

The ferris wheel close-ups are lovely.

The artist with his purple checked cap, though - I do like that cap.  Is it from an artist Special set?  Or from where?  I'd love one of those caps.
