« on: November 13, 2014, 15:04:54 »
This is my first time posting pictures here, just thought it would be fun to share some photos I've taken over the last few days of my daughter's dollhouse. As you can see, she treasures her Egyptians  :).

First, the kitchen:

I like the way the bust (is that the word?) is staring at itself in the mirror!

(the roman picnic seems tasty too! CAKES!)

Oh my, I totally love this  ;D  ;D

Did you make the dollhouse for her? Then I would like to compliment you on the choice of kitchen tiles. Gorgeous!
Also, the non-Playmobil furniture (is it Sylvanian?) looks like a perfect match.

And the scenes put a big smile on my face   I love how the chairs are all pointing towards the tv in the living room.

Tell your daughter there's someone on the other side of the world who is in awe of her dollhouse for Romans  :wow:
Looks like so much fun to play with  8-)

This truly shows how good Playmobil is for encouraging imaginative play after all where else would you get Romans, Egyptians, and Klickies from other eras living together in a modern dollhouse . :)9 Like the way you can see it's been done by a child with the kid sleeping face down and the home made TV screen (I remmbmer making card screen to fit in the slot of my fancy Sylvanina Families TV as a kid) also the way the guy in the front carrying the Egypitan is about to skid out of control while his Roman friend is looking like "Seriously?! hang on how did I end up being downgraded from fighting in the Roman army to carrying an Egyptian around a dollshouse!" the other Roamn looks a bit confused at the sudden discovery of cakes on a rug and a rabbit  :eh?:

Glad you liked it! I do too  ;D! It's great to have a look in the different rooms after she has fallen asleep, to see what has happened during the day!

Thank you! It's my old dollhouse but we painted and wallpapered it for her birthday in September. The kitchen and bathroom are Sylvanian, the other non-Playmobil is some Lundby from my childhood and some other random stuff.

Yes, the tv is definitely in focus. At one point there was a whole gathering of tv-watching children on the chairs, floor and table  :).

You discovered lots of details I hadn't seen, I especially love the idea of the downgraded Roman   !
