Swords and Lions

Oh no, the Baron, I dread him!

What an epic battle 

I felt right at the heart of the action when the situation can turn around anytime 

These knights are so brave & courageous !

Frederick manages to climb the rocks fast enough, but the knights are about to dismount to follow him.

Roderick is still fighting on top of the rocks, against a soldier that followed him there.

Quickly they move back to back, to defend each other while the knights climb up on the rocks after them, exept for Heinrich who seems to be going after Henry!



Roderick: "Looks like those knights arrived, they probably stole our horses to make sure we wouldnt be back in time to fight."
Frederick: "They are crafty, but we can beat them."
Roderick: "That's right, together we stand strong!"

But the three dark knights seem to stand strong together as well, as they attack them from both sides!


Henry is too occupied fighting, that he sees Heinrich too late comeing at him, ready to beat him down with his mace!


Luckily Roderick saw it happening, and jumped down from his own fight, landing on top of Heinrich to pull him off his horse!


Heinrich is quick to stand up, throwing Roderick off him, but Henry jumps in to help his friend.

Henry: "Thanks, I owe you Roderick!"
Roderick: "You owe me nothing."
Heinrich: "Seeing how you both won't survive for long anymore, it does not matter."
Wolfgang: "I am not finished yet with the one in red, leave that one to me!"
Christopher: "Just give up already, you can't win this. We are with you Henry!"
Henry: "Please go help the others, Roderick and I will handle these two."
Gareth: "Very well, I dont like what I am hearing from the distance.."
Christopher: "We better hurry!"

[Rhalius]

And they where right, things where not going well at all at the other side of the battlefield!

With the help of the Dread Baron, the Lion army defeated the soldiers quickly enough, the last of Herbert's veterans is making a desperate last stand to try and protect his lord.
Sir William: "I.. don't know what to make of this anymore.. the Dread Baron comeing to help us? this can't be right.."
Dread Baron: "You would have lost this battle if it where not for me, now go take the remaining soldiers prisoner! There can't be many left."

But here come Gareth and Christopher, charging at the Dread Baron! Will it be enough?

Christopher: "you won't defeat me this time!"
Gareth: "We will bring you to justice!"
Dread Baron: "Muhahaha! I will defeat you two just as easily as all the others!"

While they bravely fight against the Dread Baron, Henry and Roderick are fighting Heinrich Drachenfell and Wolfgang of Ravenstein.

Leaving this to the dark knights, the Lion soldiers retreat.

Frederick still has his hands full fighting Siegfried Rodich, he seems to be too strong, and is overpowering him.


But by using his legs to lift up Siegfried, he manages to throw him off the rocks!


It looks like he is knocked out, he wont be giving any trouble for a while.

But as Frederick looks to the side, it appears that their soldiers are getting surrounded and captured.

Roland is fighting bravely as well, and managed to defeat a Lion knight, but will it be enough to evade capture?

Roderick manages to finally overpower Wolfgang, pushing him against Heinrich, causing him to stumble while he was overpowering Henry.


The Dread Baron proves to be too much for Gareth and Christopher to handle, no matter how hard they try they can't beat him, or prevent Lord Herbert from being captured.

Dread Baron: "When will you understand.. no one can defeat me!"
Gareth: "Maybe I can't but, I am certain someone will defeat you."
Dread Baron: "Muhahaha, not today!"

Roland gets approached by two Lion knights, and he is ready to fight them.

Sir William: "Sheathe your sword, and you will not be harmed. You fought well but the Dread Baron has come to aid us. Even if you could defeat us, you could never defeat him."
Sir Roland: "Let me pass then, I will take my chances with the Dread Baron right away then. If you two had any honour, you would fight with me against such a horrible man."
Lion knight: "Go ahead and fight him, but you will fight him alone. Unlike King Phillip, we don't turn on our allies."

While Roland moves to fight the Dread Baron, Frederick joins his friends to help them in their fight.

After a long duel, Roderick manages to defeat Wolfgang of Ravenstein, but Henry is still fighting Heinrich, the strongest of the three dark knights.

Together, Frederick and Henry manage to defeat Heinrich Drachenfell, forcing him to surrender.

Roderick: "Looks like we took out their best knights, maybe we can get the rest of their army to surrender."

But soldiers approach, those of the dark knights.

Soldier: "The Dread Baron is on our side, and he defeated the rest of your army. You three are all that is left. Surrender, or prepare to fight the Dread Baron!"
Frederick: "What? the Dread Baron?! He is here?"
Henrich chuckles. "You did not think he would stay with Prince Edward and do nothing, did you?"
Henry: "He will pay for what he has done, we will fight him!"
Roderick: "Stay calm Henry.. remember, we must work together or we won't stand a chance against the Dread Baron."

Reluctantly, they have to let go of Wolfgang and Heinrich, and gather their weapons before they walk past the enemy soldiers.

All hope seems about lost, how could they possibly defeat someone who much more experienced knights than themselves could not defeat?

It will take all their combined skill and bravery but, I'm sure they'll find a way  , really love the shot of Frederick kcikign Sigefrieid of the rocks
