The 6005 looks fantastic, hopefully this is hinting at the arrival of more civilians. Great review, thanks for sharing! :)

Yes, but note that the (odd) soldiers outnumber the civilian :(

I really think it should be just the hay cart - I mean without the soldiers.

But maybe with some highwaymen? The set needs some thugs to hide in the hay  :)

The 6005 is Playmobil going back to what it used to be - clever with great attention to detail and unusual, three qualities Playmobil has tended to be losing recently, in my opinion anyway.  The idea of an oxcart is great for the mediaeval range, so much more accurate than a horse-drawn cart, and the addition of the hay load in which people can hide is superb.  The water insert for the bucket is a great idea, too.

Yes I was actually thinking the exact same thing when it was unpacked.
The troll, the dwarves, the hay: they're not just repeats of the same old sets (medieval theme = "castle + king&queen + canon + knights"). New, fun ideas, well executed.

(well apart from the troll, which is a Fisher Price rip-off)

Well the problem with the theme is that they appearantly could not decide on going medieval or fantasy. I think they should have chosen one of those things. Considering the ugly soldiers on both sides this time, going more fantasy may have been best.

And yes the troll is pretty cool. Just one of those things you have to see in person perhaps.

Oh no, soldiers hidden under the hay to infiltrate the castle is a classic idea.

Thanks for the great review. Love that hay cart. The hay piece is great and it's nice they have used the old cart mold. You know the big barrel on it's stand fits in the cart too, love it like that.

I like the idea of a troll, but the look isn't what I was expecting for a Playmobil piece.
Still, I might get it one day  :)  I've got my eye on the dwarves, you see.

That Hay cart is even better than I expected. Thanks for the great pictures. The coachman is a very nice one. I don't think there's anything wrong with his beard.

I don't know about the baby dragon. He looks a bit simple to me. His mom is gorgeous.

I've just noticed that the hairstyle on the driver is not the usual jagged style; the "jags" at the front are different lengths.
