In the local toyshop I noticed a Peterkin-imported BMW Z4 which looked pretty much Playmobil size. I looked in today and, as well as buying the 4225 emergency baby unit, also took a photo of the BMW with a Playmobil figure in it. It fitted perfectly and the car, the member of staff said, is the same size as the Playmobil getaway car. It has opening doors, bonnet and boot, working steering and a friction motor. Price? £6.99. Maybe an alternative to the Herpa BMW. I'm certainly thinking of buying one.
