So we're certain collectors contacted by geobra to host this event? I also thought that the red knight could not be made in large numbers due to the old mold being worn out. The wrists rotate so this can not be the 74 mold, right?
If you hear the sound of the bell which will tell you that Grigori has been killed, if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family will remain alive. They will be killed by the Russian people. :prays:

You are right, I would say "1974 style" then. In Mexico, the organizers were the subsidiary employees, even the director, which was appreciated by collectors because we felt this was the first time Playmobil Mexico gave us some attention.
We got fun, meet and share with other collectors, celebrating the 40th anniversary. At the end, this was the real reason for the event.  :yup:
In Madrid and Mexico City there are some complaints because some people grabbed tens of figures while some others just one or two. So, let's see what the price in ebay will be in some time. I could get the six shown below.
All figures have the event label and a QR code in the back. The golden one is special for the event. I have all the girls but I missed the green, all blue and red males  :(. I have to check if the nine figures were available in Mexico City but I think only seven.

There is a link in the German page: http://smile.playmobil.com/

Thanks for the news on the event. Now to get geobra to fully understand "share" and this event could be done all over the globe as promised. It looks and sounds contagiously fun. The pcc team though already alluded  to all the legal obstacles so fingers tightly crossed.

I really love the klickys with the QR codes on their backsides. That's really quite funny. What does the QR code take you to, the Playmobil website? I want one to make into a keychain and I can whip it out and have people scan it when I'm trying to explain to them what playmobil is.

It would also be really handy to give these out at train shows for the same excellent purpose, in the US at least.

Yeah, definitely! Or for those who have kids, if you're having a kids party, you could put them in the favor bags. Or you could slip one in free with each purchase at a garage sale. Those things have definite possibilities.

Thank you for the pictures, what a nice assortment of vintage klickies. I would certainly love to get my hands on some of those. Admittedly, the event sounds like a great deal of fun, even if it was rather poorly advertised and some of the locations at which it was held were puzzling. :-\

An interesting video was posted on the Playmobil YouTube channel which offered a bit of a "behind-the-scenes" look at the event.

I'd love  to have these guys around to give out when people ask about me keychain, or the 5 foot guy I've got on my porch, or at halloween with the candy... I sometimes give out dozens of magazines to people each year and  it would be nice to have  these fellows to pass out.
Someday, I will organize my stuff, I promise.
