Fishing and exploring

We've had some nice temperatures here in the Netherlands and for my little girl the inflatable mini swimming pool is set up to cool down and have fun. When she takes a nap daddy gets his playmo and starts shooting....... pictures that is. (Very very complicated to make god shots while focusing your camera, zooming in on your target that keeps floating away..... :P)

Will post the story soon, first a picture I found on my harddrive that I've never shared here and depicts a scene at the ocean floor.

Fishing with Vassillis

It's a nice warm day in the blue Aegean sea. Vassillis had left the harbor at Mykonos early in the morning and his Arianna is now full with fresh fish.
While cleaning one of the fish he hears voices behind him.



"Oke Jim, let me hook you up", "Hook someone up??? Vassillis petrifies"


He turns around and realizes an explorer, or treasure seeker, is busy preparing and checking the safety of a diver.


Hey wait a minute, something on my line, lets take this fish in.


He takes his new fish in...


and he navigates his ship to the other side of the explorers ship.

This looks like a nice spot to watch those explorers. I have caught enough fish for today, so lets enjoy the spectacle.


"You're all oke Jim?" "Yeah, Breathing oke, radio oke, safetyline oke...lower me down" responds Jim.


"Good luck, according to the captain there should be something exactly under the hull of the ship"

Beautifull pictures, I'm just as curious as that fisherman about whats going to happen. Did he first think the fish where speaking to him and wanted to get even by hooking him up?  :lol:

The captain takes a look and asks:'everything fine?'


'Steady she goes, you're a'right Jim?' 'I'm fine over almost submerged now.'


Down under and hit the bodem. Everything fine, I think I see the object visible on sonar......wow!
